Question 1

What does What's Inside? check?

Accepted Answer

Every ingredient is cross-referenced against the banned-substance lists of the EU, UK and US. We apply the strictest of the three, so a substance restricted in one place is flagged wherever you are.

Question 2

Which products can I scan?

Accepted Answer

Food, drink, beauty and cosmetics, pet food and household products. The catalogue covers over a million products worldwide.

Question 3

Does it account for allergies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add everyone you shop for with their own allergies and anything they would rather avoid, and a scan names the people a product is wrong for instead of giving one general score.

Question 4

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

There is a 14-day unlimited trial, then 10 scans a month free forever. Premium is $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year for unlimited scans.
